Our Story:

In Colorado, mental health is in a state of crisis. Suicide rates are among the highest in the nation, and access to mental wellness resources remains scarce for too many individuals. As the challenges of trauma, addiction, and mental illness continue to grow, we must take action. That's why we are launching the Colorado Mental Wellness Initiative (CMWI) – a statewide movement aimed at revolutionizing how we approach mental health care.

The CMWI is focused on building 7 crisis and mental wellness centers across Colorado, ensuring that every individual, regardless of their financial status or insurance coverage, has access to the support they need—24/7. By integrating plant medicine therapies like psilocybin and MDMA for the treatment of PTSD, addiction, and depression, we plan to pave the way for a more compassionate and effective mental health care system.

Our goal is simple: to make Colorado #1 in mental wellness by addressing the root causes of mental health issues with innovative treatments, compassionate care, and systemic support. We also believe that mental wellness should be at the heart of all communities, which is why our initiative includes resources for families, businesses, and schools, aiming to make preventive mental wellness the foundation of a healthy society.
