The voiceless creatures who live on the streets with no homes and could be pets of people who might have forced them out of their houses are known as strays. India has around 30 million stray dogs and more than 20,000 people dying of rabies every year. Automobile collisions end up causing harm to strays. They tend to defile and sully as there is no one to nurture them. A physical structure like a safe house, is something that humans can afford to protect themselves whereas stray dogs cannot. During the much awaited winter season in India, stray dogs are the ones who suffer the most due to the harsh cold weather. The least one can do is to provide a shelter to puppies and dogs who are struggling to fight cold.  Let them into your garages, gardens and porches by just utilising old cardboard boxes and blankets.
