As a fellow Emo/Pop punk fan, I dont believe that cramming 65 bands onto 3 stages in 13 hours would benefit anyone. As well as the health concerns of having such a large gathering in one day. If they span it over 2 days, it will allow people to either party it up for two days, or spread out and enjoy in smaller groups.

With this all being said, it would also allow bands to play longer and more enjoyable sets. Where they will be able to play all of their greatest hits, and have a greater audience engagement. 

I understand that people have job, families, lives to live. But there are months between now and when the concert is, so the concern for a possible increase in price is scary. I doubt that, even if the event gets extended, there will be a apike in price.

I also understand that it is run by Livenation and there are a lot of things going on with them, but its almost impossible to find a concert not run by them. They hold a lot of ground in the topic of concerts.

I feel the more signatures we get, and the more sales of tickets seen, we can get this event to a 2 day concert.

The When We Were Young Festival should be a full festival. Have it be over a 2 day span and give each band the respected time to play their hearts out.

When I had first heard that this festival was being planned, i immediately reached out to my friends and let them know. We were all excited until we saw it was only one day. With over 60 bands playing on 3 seperate stages, it would turn into almost complete chaos.

I figured the best course of action would be to fight back and start this petition. Get this festival to its true potential and make it 2 days.
