As a person of shorter stature, I am often disappointed by the lack of representation we receive in film and media. This issue is personal to me and many others who identify as "short kings". One glaring example is the portrayal of Wolverine, a character from Marvel Comics. In the comics, Wolverine, also known as Logan, stands at 5'3" tall. However, Hugh Jackman – who has done an incredible job portraying this character for years – is significantly taller than this at 6'2". As Jackman steps down from his iconic role, it's time for Marvel to make a change.

The importance of representation in media cannot be overstated. Studies have shown that seeing people who look like us on screen can boost self-esteem and promote inclusivity (American Psychological Association). By casting an actor who accurately represents Wolverine's height as per comic canon, Marvel has an opportunity to contribute positively towards this cause.

We are not asking for drastic changes but simply accurate representation that respects the original source material while promoting diversity and inclusion within Hollywood.
