As a community we are frankly SICK and TIRED of William Edward Byers getting treated like trash. His birthday is forgotten, he’s in love with his step sisters boyfriend/his best friend, the day he gets kidnapped is the day his love interest “starts his life”, etc. My point is that Will deserves so much better than Mike and most of the people surrounding him. So my pitch is to make Will Byers a villain, not just a villain, a gay super villain, because he’s super fruity and has been since the beginning of the show so by signing this petition will finally get a coming out scene and a villain arc. You might be asking, “how will you do this?” I have a simple explanation, when we reach the goal I will use all this support to find contact with the writers of stranger things + the duffer brothers and bully them into making Will the character he was destined to be.
