As many of you know (or don't), the popular social VR game "Rec Room" is announcing it will be closing its doors on June 1st. This is a very sad day for many VR players, as this game helped many grow friendships, explore creativity, and helped them get through covid. But it doesn't have to end like this, you can be a member of the change. 

For those of you who don't know what Valve is, Valve is a major game making company who is also the host of the worlds biggest game launcher platform, Steam. This brand is well-known for being very heartfelt in their game making, creating some of the most influential gaming titles such as the "Half-Life" series, the "Counter-Strike" series, and the Portal franchise. This company is also known for being very listening towards customers unlike many other gaming platforms. They also have a massive, experienced team of VR developers who have worked many VR games such as, "Half-Life Alyx", "The Lab", and "Aperture Desk Job". Valve also has a new VR headset in the works, which is a very strong factor in why i feel as this is the best course of action for Valve and Rec Room.

Every signature matters in helping this game stay alive just a little longer, nobody was expecting this outcome for Rec Room, but that doesn't mean its the only outcome. So please, sign this petition, and #SaveRecRoom.
