We, the undersigned, are calling on Tim to bring back the weekly Saturday badminton social, Badmintim — a session that has been genuinely missed by many in our community.

Badmintim wasn’t just a regular hit-around. It was a consistent, welcoming space where players of all levels could come together, stay active, and enjoy the social side of the sport. For many of us, it became a highlight of the week — a place to unwind, improve our game, and connect with familiar faces.

Since it stopped running, there’s been a noticeable gap. The unique mix of friendly competition, good vibes, and community spirit hasn’t quite been replicated elsewhere. A lot of members have expressed how much they miss the routine and atmosphere that Badmintim created.

We understand that hosting takes time and effort, but the impact it had on the group is clear. By signing this petition, we’re showing that there is strong interest and support for Badmintim to return — even if it’s in a slightly adjusted format.
