For a 100-level class that is required for many majors, Thomas Rustici should not be the first face a new student at Mason sees. He does not care about his students, nor does he care about his students succeeding. His tenured status took his focus away from teaching students and made his lectures more about what he wants to teach rather than what is needed to be taught. People from outside of George Mason even know about the horrors that come with being in one of his classes. Speaking on behalf of the students at George Mason, I do not believe he should be able to teach any 100-level class. Prof. Rustici's average exam grade should be enough proof for this. I ask that the College of Humanities and Social Sciences reconsider Prof. Rustici's ability to teach core required economics.
