African-Americans have been affected by the horrible acts of the trans-Atlantic slave trade for nearly 400 years. They lost their native languages, identities, cultures, names and communal pride due to this horrific event that still unknowingly prevails today in modern American society. For a group of people to have so much diversity and deeply rooted history, the American flag can never be flown without reminding the victims and the descendants of the bloodshed on American soil. The lynchings, splitting of families, rapes, unjustified murders, segregation,institutionalized racism, unnecessary and unfair treatment and most importantly and very recently the unjust acts of police brutality all come to mind when the star spangled banner is flown. We as a people need to regain our community and our pride , starting with the youth first and I believe that Apple/Samsung need to incorporate the pan-African flag (RBG) (which symbolizes solidarity amongst descendants of the slave trade and their well deserved liberation) as an official emoji because we are one of the only communities in the U.S.A without our own flag amongst a vast selection of flags including the LGBT, checkered and even a pirate flag embedded in our keyboards on our mobile devices. #BlackLivesMatter ✊�✊�✊�✊� ❤️��Show me the race or the nation without a flag, and I will show you a race of people without any pride - Marcus Garvey
