I want to start a petition to continue the story of Mike and Eleven after Stranger Things 5. The ending feels intentionally unfinished. In the finale, when the Upside Down is about to be destroyed and the group escapes back to safety, Eleven is left behind. She appears one last time at the gate, pulls Mike close to say goodbye, and he’s forced to watch as she vanishes with the Upside Down. It’s devastating, and Mike’s reaction makes it hit even harder. Later, during the final D&D game, Mike tells a hopeful story  that Kali created one last illusion so Eleven could escape, surviving somewhere far away where no one knows she’s alive. The show leaves it up to the audience to decide what they believe, and the creators have confirmed that her fate is intentionally ambiguous That’s why this story shouldn’t end there. I’d love to see a continuation where Mike chooses hope, goes looking for Eleven, finds her, and their journey is given a true conclusion together
