All cricket boards coming under the ICC burst crackers whenever any game takes place. Although these are presumably "eco-friendly", they still affect the local air quality immensely and can also negatively influence kids. An alternative that is a 100% eco-friendly has to replace crackers to create the celebratory mood for the players and their supporters. 

That decision is left to the ICC, but to ban the usage of crackers immediately is imperative to the health of the environment and its inhabitants.
