Letting go of something you’ve cared about for such a long time is hard. Especially when it comes to school spirit. But sometimes it needs to be done. Just like changing our school mascot. At this point in time, the Husky mascot is terribly outdated and overused. 

Chino Hills High School was founded in the year of 2001. This would indicate that we are stuck 21 years in the past. To fit with current trends and to appear more appealing to public eye, we can identify as something more modern.

By converting the Chino Hills High School mascot from a Husky to an anime girl, it would give Chino Hills a fresh start and public appeal. 

Anime girls can be used to represent anything and everyone ranging from inanimate objects to real life people. Anime girls can be used to represent your school spirit, love, and feelings. To put it simply, anime girls would give more of an emotional impact on general school feelings due to the love that people share for anime in present day.
