Make the "Cheater's Lament" Hat Tradeable in Team Fortress 2

Make the "Cheater's Lament" Hat Tradeable in Team Fortress 2
The Issue
Ever since my older brother received the "Cheater's Lament" hat in Team Fortress 2, I noticed its potential to breathe new life into the game for newcomers and reward longtime players alike. This legendary old hat represents a key period in the history of Team Fortress 2 but, as it currently stands, can't be traded or sold. It's time we liberate this extraordinary item and enable everyone to fully enjoy its value.
As it stands, the "Cheater’s Lament" is the only item from the 2009 'The Sniper vs. Spy' update that remains untradeable. This outdated policy defies the culture of item trading that is so integral to the TF2 community. With over 50 million registered players, many of whom are actively involved in item trading, an estimated economic impact in the tens of thousands could occur if this item was made tradeable by the Valve Corporation.
We propose that Valve Corporation update the "Cheater’s Lament" hat status to be fully tradeable. This change would reinvigorate interest amongst veteran players who can make significant profit off this collectible item, and would aim to attract newer players seeking to add this antique item to their collection.
Let's champion for a more engaging and fairer trading experience! Please, sign this petition to make the "TF2 Cheater’s Lament" tradeable!
