Make ST and PRC a mandatory pre-requisites for competitive exams in Arunachal Pradesh

Make ST and PRC a mandatory pre-requisites for competitive exams in Arunachal Pradesh
The Issue
Our state Arunachal Pradesh is one of most beautiful North Eastern State with richest and diverse culture and is mostly inhabited by tribal population. Unfortunately, currently our beautiful tribal state bears the brunt of a dire unemployment crisis. The crisis has left in its wake countless educated youth grappling with an uncertain future. One of the main culprits causing this crisis? The lack of tribal centric employment policies.
When we look at our neighboring states like Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Meghalaya and even Assam, they've made the Schedule Tribe (ST) and Permanent Residential Certificates (PRC) a mandatory pre-requisite for appearing in competitive exams. This has not only helped uphold their tribal heritage but also paved the path towards secure futures for their youth.
However, this is yet to be the norm in our own state of Arunachal Pradesh for competitive examinations being conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB). There is still a prevalent lack of any directive that necessitates the Schedule Tribe (ST) and Permanent Residential certificates (PRC) as eligibility prerequisites for appearing in these examinations. Not only does it stands as an impediment for indigenous inhabitants, but it opens doors for people from other state to secure coveted post in our state as well.
Time has come to pave way for a more inclusive examination environment, where only those with authentic state-specific documents/certificates are allowed to participate, thus ensuring that the interest of our local indigenous population are safeguarded.
Therefore, with this petition we urge the concerned authority i.e the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to mandate Schedule Tribe (ST) and Permanent Residential certificates (PRC) as necessary prerequisites for all exams conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB).
This is an urgent plea for justice and representation. We request all our fellow Arunachalees those who believe in safeguarding our tribal indigenous inhabitants to lend their voices to this cause and sign this petition. Together we can make Arunachal Pradesh, our home, a better place for us and the generations to come. The future of Arunachal Pradesh depends on it.
Please, sign this petition to bring about this much-needed change.
