I bought a Car Thing when they started getting rid of them from their storehouses, and it’s been in my car for over two years now. It’s been so helpful and nice for me to not have to look at my phone while driving. As of May 23, 2024, they’ve notified all users that the Car Thing will be inoperable in December 2024, which is unacceptable. We paid good money for that and to have it rendered useless for no good reason is very disappointing.

The Car Thing offers a safer way to control music while driving by reducing distractions. Discontinuing support not only wastes our investment but also compromises road safety. Please sign this petition to urge Spotify to continue supporting the Car Thing beyond December 2024!
