A lot of people are aware of the basic time units (seconds, minutes, hours, and the like) but not many people are aware that there ARE people out there that use Shrek as a time measurement!

The length of the movie "Shrek" is one hour and thirty-five minutes. therefore, if we use Shrek as a unit of time, we can refer to an hour and thirty-five minutes in a much easier way. Instead of saying "The movie will be over in an hour and thirty-five minutes!" you can say "The movie will be over in one Shrek!"

Also, instead of saying "I will go on vacation next month." you can say "I will go on vacation in 464.4 Shreks!"
