Make POSCA Potted - Release the Paint!

Make POSCA Potted - Release the Paint!
The Issue
POSCA paint is perfect for windows — but it only comes in pens.
Artists everywhere are decanting markers, wasting paint, and pumping PC‑17Ks like acrylic cows just to get brushable colour.
We’re asking Uni Mitsubishi Pencil to release the same beloved POSCA formula in small paint pots — designed for brushwork, murals, and seasonal window art.
A joyful, unnecessary, deeply important movement for window artists everywhere.
We, the undersigned, are window painters, muralists, illustrators, crafters, teachers, and creative gremlins who have spent far too many hours pumping POSCA pens like we’re trying to restart a tiny acrylic heart.
We love POSCA.
We adore POSCA.
We rely on POSCA.
But we also know a truth that must finally be spoken:
We need POSCA paint… in pots.
Not because we dislike the markers.
Not because we’re ungrateful.
But because:
• We are tired of decanting PC‑17Ks like we’re milking reluctant acrylic cows
• We are tired of shaking pens until our wrists sound like maracas
• We are tired of wasting half a pen’s worth of paint trapped behind a felt nib
• We are tired of pretending brush‑on POSCA doesn’t already exist inside the pen
• We are tired of seasonal window commissions turning into endurance sports.
We believe the world is ready for:
POSCA Pots™
(working title, but honestly, it slaps)
A range of:
• 30ml and 50ml pots
• airtight, non‑drying lids
• colour‑matched to the existing POSCA system
• the same beloved matte, opaque, removable formula
• designed for brushwork, backgrounds, and large‑scale murals
We believe this would:
• reduce waste
• support professional artists
• make window painting more accessible
• stop us from performing acrylic surgery on innocent markers
• and finally acknowledge the booming seasonal window‑art community
Help Make POSCA Potted.
For the artists.
For the windows.
For the future.
Help us reach 100 signatures to prove this isn’t just a very specific personal problem I’ve invented.
