Make Parasailing Safer Worldwide — Introduce Real-Time Communication for Parasailers
The Issue
This change could prevent tragedies just like in recent news with 19 year old Tijana Radonjic who sadly lost her life due to having a panic attack.
Parasailing is an incredible adventure sport enjoyed by millions around the world. But it also carries serious risks—especially when participants panic or face emergencies mid-air without any way to communicate with the crew on the boat.
We believe every parasailer deserves a simple but vital safety measure: real-time two-way communication via wireless earpieces. This would allow parasailers to speak to their operators instantly, get reassurance, and receive crucial instructions if something goes wrong.
This change will reduce panic, and make parasailing a safer experience for everyone—whether on holiday in Florida, the Mediterranean, or right here in the UK.
We call on parasailing operators, safety organizations, and regulators worldwide to adopt this life-saving technology as a standard safety protocol.
