Make our living places safer- major mishap at Nahar's Nectarfield Club House

Make our living places safer- major mishap at Nahar's Nectarfield Club House
The Issue
I am a resident of Nahar Amrit Shakti.
On 11th of June'23, around 9.05pm...my husband and younger son (9yrs old) went to the Nectarfield Club’s restaurant. My husband opened the glass door, the one in the lobby on the right side of the reception, my son just passed through the door when the upper nob of the handle broke while my husband was still holding the handle. It spun and hit the door. The glass door broke and fell on his leg. Blood started oozing out immediately and he fell on the floor. He was lying there in a pool of blood holding his leg with glass pieces inside.
He managed to push my son to make sure he wasn't hurt, you may call him lucky to have missed it by a few seconds.
My husband was shouting for help...while some fellow residents did reach out to help, the Club staff did not budge. No ambulance was called. No attempt was made to lift him and take him to the hospital. He lay there with the blood still oozing out for approx. 8-10 mins. It was a God sent Angel who offered to take him in his car to the hospital. This person is not a resident of Nahar Amrit Shakti and was just visiting the clubhouse that day. My 75 yrs old father reached the club from my house in Nahar Amrit Shakti and took him to the hospital in the car offered by this person, all this while my husband was lying there requesting for an ambulance.
He has been injured severely, his arteries, nerves and tendons of all five fingers in the left leg have been damaged. He had to go through a blood transfusion due to severe blood loss. His surgery lasted for 4 hours. He had a risk of losing his limb. He was admitted at Hiranandani Hospital for a week, no one from the club bothered to check if he was ok.
The glass door, for your information has been in a need of repair since April, it was my sons birthday and so I remember it clearly.
My husband’s current state is that he is on bed rest and will not be able to walk without crutches/on his own for at least 4 months. It may take longer. We are not sure when he would be able to resume work.
We are a nuclear family and handling all of this alone was nothing less than a nightmare for us. The kind of trauma and pain that we went through during those days cannot be expressed in words. My son is still in trauma since he saw his Dad in that situation and keeps repeating the incident at home saying “nobody helped us”. He refuses to go to the Nectarfield Club again.
This could have happened to anyone and could have gone really wrong.
This is a case of negligence, ignorance, lack of maintenance and lack of training of the staff of the Nectarfield Clubhouse. The staff is clearly not trained to handle such situations. Having said that, it is actually inhuman to not even try to help someone immediately when an incident like this happens.
I have written emails to the clubhouse and others(sbnahar@nahargroup.co.in, ea_cmd@nahargroup.co.in, info@nahargroup.co.in, tiliatulipia@gmail.com, info@naharnectarfield.com) and the response that I have got from them is cold and defensive.
There is a reason why we choose such premium societies as these are considered safe for our families, our loved ones. Despite of paying heavy maintenance charges, sadly this is the treatment we get. My family and I feel unsafe in our own premises.
I am looking for support to make sure something like this does not happen again to anyone.
