Due to recent events, it appears there is now an opening for the border between the US and Canada to be changed. The US incumbent president has endorsed a change of territory. This petition asks Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio legislature to officially secede from the United States of America and request recognition as a province of Canada. 
Our neighboring country of Canada has many issues, but none as serious as America's 18% rise in homelessness, two-tiered justice system, egregious medical and student loan debt, or lack of regard for its long standing treaties. As such, Ohio will fare much better under the leadership of the Canadian government, and the day to day lives of Ohioans will improve immeasurably when this petition is enacted.
