New Era no longer make their fitted hats in the USA. Furthermore, all of their fitted hats were 100% wool until 2006 where they opted out for 100% polyester. That’s not the only bad business idea they had. Battermans went from being flat to embossed, sweatbands went from being white to black and a new era flag has been slapped on the side of almost every hat. I want new era to bring things back to the good ol’ days where hats were 100% wool, with a white sweatband, a flat batterman and no new era flag on the side of the hat. The thing is, nobody is making a stand and speaking up to New Era. People are just buying whatever they release because they don’t realize the quality of their products have dropped. If everybody that loves buying new era fitteds starts to understand my points and complain to New Era, maybe they will finally put out products for people like me.
