Every National Jambons® Day we come together to celebrate the nation’s favourite savoury snack. But March 18th is not a public holiday and the men, women, and children of Ireland are often forced to observe this sacred day at school or in work.

In 2024 National Jambons® Day happens to be a public holiday thanks to Saint Patrick. At Golden Bake, we believe every March 18th should be a day of rest and reflection. A day to share Jambons®. A day to remember old Jambons®. A day to dream of Jambons® yet to come.

So, Golden Bake is asking you to sign our petition demanding that the Irish Government makes National Jambons® Day a public holiday…forevermore.
