Custom figure collectors worldwide have been robbed by Nathan Eakins (aka Silent Surfer). Specifically, Nathan consistently agrees to take on paint application work for sculpts, has the buyer send money in advance along with the to-be-painted head sculpt, then fails to return the completed project to the buyer despite numerous requests. He has strung buyers along for several years with the same pitch that he is going to get to it eventually and that you should continue to wait. I myself have had a head sculpt waiting for paint and hair application for almost 4 years, when the original turnaround time proposed was less than a year. In fact, I requested a refund more than 2 years ago and he advised me that it was almost completed and just to wait a little longer. Further, there is evidence that he will wrap up a project and send it to the buyer quickly if they agree to send him even more money. These are shady business practices and Nathan must be put to a stop. 

Nathan has taken thousands of dollars and numerous unpainted head sculpts from customers across the globe. He has wronged several collectors and continues to operate on Facebook and custom figure forums where he continues to have people send him funds to complete projects, despite having customers who have waited 4 years and more for work that was supposed to be finished in less than a year. 

If we don't put a stop to Nathan, he will continue to rob innocent customers and ruin the joy of collecting art. We must put an end to his workshop and shady business ethics. Please sign this petition if you agree and/or if you know someone who was affected by his scams.
