Make Narcan Free and Accessible to All

The Issue

I lost my dad to a fentanyl overdose. If Narcan had been readily available in his home, he might still be alive today. This is a tragedy no one should have to face. Narcan, an essential life-saving tool in the event of opioid overdoses, currently retails for $61 for 10 milliliters - a price too steep for many households. Furthermore, studies have shown that 41% of first responders are not adequately trained on how to use it effectively, that’s 41% more chances to save a life gone. (source: National Institute on Drug Abuse). We need to make Narcan free and accessible everywhere - in homes, cars, apartments and more - so that we can prevent avoidable deaths from overdoses or laced substances. By doing so, we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to save a life when every second counts. please sign this petition and join us in our fight against opioid overdose deaths by making narcan universally accessible at no cost!
