"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is a book series that has captivated readers with its intriguing story and unique characters. Back in 2016, 20th Century Fox adapted the first book into a movie. While the movie was good and had some unique and interesting twists to the story, it didn't quite capture the essence of the original novel as we had hoped. Not only that, but it ended with a cliffhanger which left fans, including myself, yearning for more. Despite the anticipation, the sequels in the series were never brought to life on screen, leaving the full tale of Miss Peregrine and her peculiar wards only to be explored in the pages of Ransom Riggs' books. As we approach a decade since the film release, it’s time for a fresh revisit to this world. A TV series adaptation would allow each book the depth and time it deserves, engaging viewers with a richer dive into this enchanting universe. With the dynamic landscape of streaming services today, platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Disney+ have the resources and audience to successfully bring "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children" to life. A TV series would not only provide the time to faithfully delve into each novel, but would flesh out characters’ stories and unravel its mysteries with the detail they command. Another thing that bothers me is that there are two book series similar to Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children that got this kind of recognition: "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and "Harry Potter." Percy Jackson got adapted into two movies but then got discontinued because the second movie didn't do so well. Then a decade later, it got rebooted into a successful TV series on Disney Plus. As for the Harry Potter series, all the books got adapted into successful movies and now they have actually have a new HBO Max TV series coming out this winter. But if they can do that for these book series, then why not for Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children?!! It has so much potential as a TV series too!! Let’s urge any streaming services to consider adapting "Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children" into a TV series that honors the uniqueness of the books and respects the original fan base.
