Every day, I see women struggling to procure menstrual products - an essential health need. The cost is prohibitive for too many, forcing them to resort to inadequate alternatives, or even go without. The situation is critical, and we must act now.

In the United States, nearly one in five girls have either left school early or missed school altogether because they did not have access to menstrual products. A study by Plan International UK states that one in ten girls or women aged 14 to 21 in the UK can't afford menstrual products. This isn't just an issue of economic disparity, it affects education, employment, and overall well-being.

Today we call upon our policy-makers to take decisive action. We must make menstrual products more affordable or, ideally, freely available.

Every person who menstruates deserves the dignity and the guarantee of having their basic health needs met, without the burden of financial constraints. Please sign this petition, stand up for millions of women and girls worldwide, and let's bring about the necessary change.
