My Niece who was only 16 years old was taken from us far too soon whilst been near the river. 

When she first went missing, we handed out posters and walked by the river banks.  We saw so many teenagers sat drinking alcohol with friends, we explained the dangers of the rivers.

When we was told the horrific sad news of leah we where told she was last seen at the edge of the river however the police could not tell us what had happened as there are know CCTV cameras along parts of the river, this needs to be changed. For the safety of our children and adults who have mental health problems and drink problems. Now is the time to act  please can you sign this petition and let's try and make our rivers a little more visible to the CCTV cameras around york. Thank you.
