While the majority of the civilians in India have yet to learn empathy and kindness towards animals, the indian police has definitely become kinder, compassionate and empathetic towards the voiceless. Surprisingly they are not only taking prompt action when crime against animals is being reported but also urging the common man of India to be kind and compassionate.
An IPS officer Arpit Jain who also has a doctorate degree to his credit tweets on being kind to animals on a regular basis. In one of his tweets on 27th September he posted a pic of an injured monkey with her baby and urged people not to beat animals with sticks and stones because for them neither a doctor would come nor an ambulance and neither they can express their pain and misery to anyone (pic in the post). We should always remember that our anger may result into a lifelong pain for someone else. To read the tweet kindly go on the link below:

Just few hours back he has posted a pic of a street vendor who has put an umbrella for his horse, to save him from the scorching heat of the sun. The officer has tweeted "This person deserves respect"
Yes indeed such humans deserve respect.

Dr Jain definitely deserves our respect and appreciation for his committment towards the voiceless and his endeavours in making India an animal friendly country which once upon a time India was. He is indeed a role model for other police personnel in India.
