Together, you've already achieved something remarkable.

Just 10 days ago, this campaign didn't exist.
Today, more than 42,000 people have added their names and over 14,000 of you have already shared the petition with others.
When this began, I hoped people would listen.
I never imagined so many of you would also share your own stories.
Those stories have become the campaign.
Karen, who is living with stage 4 cancer, wrote: "I only have months left to live... Eventually I will need major pain relief and constant monitoring, so a hospice will be greatly beneficial to me. Please keep all hospices open at full capacity."
Anna wrote: "My partner had terminal cancer... our local hospice had closed all its beds and he died in a busy hospital ward... I weep at the difference now."
Bernie wrote: "My 96-year-old mum spent a day in a corridor before being found a bed on an acute heart ward... there was nowhere else to put her."
And Ruth perhaps summed up what so many of us feel:
"Dying is the single thing we all have in common. There is only one chance to get it right."
Because of you, these voices are now being heard.
Almost 300 MPs and Peers from across the political spectrum have already united behind the same message, and national media are now beginning to take notice.
One final favour...
If this campaign has touched you, please don't let it stop with your signature.
Please share it with just one friend, or if your local hospice has a Facebook page or community group, please tag or share it with them too. I'd love every hospice in the UK to know their community is standing behind them.
If you do share it, please tag me if you're able. I'd love the opportunity to personally thank you for helping give hospice patients and their families a stronger voice.
Together, let's reach 50,000.
