Make Gavin Newsome declare the Nixon fire a state of emergency

The Issue

The Nixon fire ignited on July 29, 2024, in the census-designated place of Aguanga/Anza in Riverside County.

As of 8/5/2024 at 12:12 pm; cal-fire reports that 4,854 wildfires are in California and 778,151 Acres have been Burned.

The Nixon fire has burned at least "5,222" acres so far and is 82% contained but the damages people have suffered are enormous...

I know over three people who are now homeless due to fire damages and the Red Cross has expressed that additional resources could be available if the government found this to be a state of emergency

most if not all Anza residents have little to no access to affordable fire insurance as this area is a high-risk fire zone.
