TONIGHT: The Foxland Harbor Marina First Reading
Gallatin City Hall
6 pm
August 19, 2025
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Tonight’s Gallatin City Council meeting is critical. This is the First Reading of the oversized marina proposal, and it’s one of the few opportunities we have to make our voices heard directly by our elected officials.
Citizens will be allowed up to five minutes each to speak. This is our chance to tell the Council why this project is too big, too noisy, and too dangerous for our community.
Showing up in person is the single most important thing you can do. When City Hall is full, the Council cannot ignore the message that residents—not developers—must come first. Don’t forget to wear red.
Remember:
The marina approved in 2023 was not what was promised—a 100-slip Community Boat Dock.
The developer’s traffic plan received a failing grade of F.
The current proposal includes a roundabout directly in front of Foxland Harbor Club House and neighborhood entrance—unacceptable for safety and traffic flow.
Public pushback has already made a difference. But tonight is our moment to stand together and protect our neighborhoods.
Please be there. Please speak up. Together, we can stop this.
IS THIS WHAT OUR CITY OFFICIALS WANT FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD?
