Today the Gallatin Planning Commission will discuss the latest Foxland Harbor marina plans submitted by the developer. The commission may vote if this is a “major” or “minor” change to his original submittal. The city’s planning staff has suggested several conditions in their report for the commission’s consideration. If the developer succeeds tonight, it puts the project on the fast track to final approval.
This is the fight for Gallatin’s future, and we need you today at the Gallatin Planning Commission Meeting: Date: Monday, June 23
Time: 5:00 PM (Arrive early to get a seat and pick up your free red Friends of Old Hickory Lake T-shirt)
Location: Gallatin City Hall
Please continue to call your elected and appointed officials. Remind them that they are accountable to the citizens, not the developers. This decision could forever alter the direction of our city. Will Gallatin remain a place rooted in natural beauty and thoughtful growth, or will it become overcrowded, commercialized, and unrecognizable? Now is the time to act. Stand up. Show up. Speak out. Thank you for being a voice for Gallatin!
This is our lake. This is our community. This is our fight.
