For our civic action project we want to make a change and that change is something that all women can relate to. Our goal is to lower the prices of period products, such as pads and tampons to make it more affordable for women that are low income or just can't afford these products. Periods are something that's natural, a woman can't control it at all, so we want these feminine hygiene products to not be pricey nor have a price on them since they are a human necessity. We want to make a legislation for Massachusetts that would make the prices of period products low-cost. 

If period products were to be at a reasonable and affordable price, health problems in women would majorly decrease. That is what we want. Women who don't have access to the basic feminine hygiene products are the ones who are more likely to get ill due to the compromises they would have to make if they cannot afford these products. This would help all women in general. Those who are low income, homeless or just don't have the capability to afford this basic human necessity. 

Making feminine hygiene products cheaper is long overdue. Ever since there were women on this earth, there have been periods. The way period products are overpriced is just not fair. Women can't control their periods and on top of that they would have to pay for something they can't control? That is just bluntly not fair. We need to make a change for women's health and women. So, lets come together and make feminine hygiene products cheaper.
