The Issue

To the EDM industry — artists, promoters, venues, and everyone scheduling set times:

We love the music. We love the culture. We love the community.
But we cannot keep pretending that headliners going on at 1–2 AM is a sustainable or fan-friendly system.

Most of us have jobs, responsibilities, and sleep cycles that aren’t built for nightlife Olympic events. Many fans can’t enjoy shows because by the time the headliner steps on stage, they’re exhausted, unsafe to drive, or physically unable to stay awake. Even artists have openly talked about how draining these hours are.

The demand for earlier shows already exists — and it’s not just "older fans." It’s people with jobs, people with partners, people with medical conditions, people with early mornings, people who simply want to enjoy music without sacrificing their entire next day.

We’re asking for a simple, reasonable change:

**Start EDM shows earlier — 8 PM to 12 AM.
Not midnight to 3 AM.**

This benefits everyone:

Fans can safely commute home.
Artists get healthier schedules.
Clubs still make money (and often attract a wider audience).
The scene becomes more inclusive, accessible, and future-friendly.
We’re not asking you to kill the vibe.
We’re asking you to meet your own audience where they actually are — not where the industry assumes they are.

EDM isn’t “late-night only” anymore.
It’s time to update the model.

We love this community.
Please stop making us choose between seeing the artists we adore and functioning as human beings the next day.

Sign if you want the EDM industry to embrace earlier, healthier, more accessible show times.
