It's finally time to become mask optional at Eastern Conn. State University. The state of Conn. has relaxed their mandates and it’s time for Eastern to follow. 97% of resident and 91% of commuter students are fully vaccinated. With the 95.7% decrease in 7-day average of covid cases in Connecticut from Jan 10th to present, it is nonsensical to maintain the current mask mandates. Sign this petition to wake up the administration and allow students to make a choice for their own. It’s time we become sensible about the Covid-19 situation and follow the science.
