Desmos has always been there for us. Its fundamental promise was an easy to use, functional graphing calculator. But it has grown to be much more. It now exists as a beacon of hope. In the face of countless difficulties, students from all over the world studying all levels of math see Desmos as a promise of safety. It assures us that no matter what our problems are, there is always a solution. But recently, Desmos has threatened this safety with a logo change.

The original green Desmos logo was iconic. It was a symbol of everything the website was to students: a source of education, hope, and safety. Put simply, the new Desmos logo is ugly. Math is not blue. The transition from a green color scheme to blue eliminates the kind, familiar, and helpful atmosphere that once surrounded the website.

The only way for Desmos to continue protecting its users worldwide is to convert its cold, unfriendly blue logo back to the green we all love.
