Since 2023, CeX Australia halted buying DVDs. Three reasons are probably streaming took over, they have a big library and/or no one cares about DVDs much. By then, people were trying to sell some of their DVDs. CeX Australia's target products for people to sell by now are phones and video games.

CeX began in the UK in 1992 and expanded in Australia, Ireland, Spain, Malaysia, Portugal, Mexico, Netherlands, India and Italy. They started with video games and computers and then followed into home entertainment.
