I really believe that we should make CCA non compulsory as not everyone wants to go to CCA. If we didn't have CCA at all, then the time used to go to CCA can be used to relax, study or revise for upcoming exams. Having trainings in the holidays is the worst idea anyone could have. Our holidays are for resting or revising, NOT CCA. It can cause students grades and mental health to drop drastically. It can be due to the people there, the activities done or simply just the stress that comes from CCA.

I understand that some people love their CCA or CCA can be used to DSA to schools. So I'm suggesting that CCA to be non compulsory so that those who want to go CCA can go CCA and DSA if needed. While those who don't want to can study hard and go on their merry way. 

For me, CCA has been absolute hell. I dread it every single day. It is the very thing that keeps me up at night. I find myself not being able to enjoy daily life, study well or get good sleep just because I have CCA that week. I just managed to get through last year without having to kill myself.

Some people will say "you just chose the wrong CCA" Yes. Some people, including me did make the wrong choice of CCA. But people make mistakes.
If you sign this petition or donate, You are helping us to have either of these changes:

1. Non-compulsory CCA
2. Shorter CCA hours
3. 1 day CCA

When students get the choice to choose their CCA, there will hopefully be a 'no CCA option' and if students choose that, they cannot participate in CCA for the rest of their time being in their school. While those who DSA or want to have a CCA can participate in can do as they please.
