According to Shelter over 200.000 people in the UK are homeless.* Meanwhile, only the royal family can stay in the palace which is roughly 77,000 square meters or 828,818 square feet. The average Londoner lives on 32.6 square meters or 351 square feet.** Such a big place for so few people, isn't that strange? 

Here is a plan (yes an actual plan) that would turn Buckingham Palace into a house for 50.000 Londoners. Yes, it's a little cosy, yes, it will do great it housing many people.

Apart from this the palace currently and has for too long been a symbol of Colonialism, Genocide, White Supremecy, Exploitation, all the bad things, etc.

Now is the time to repurpose the building for the people, all people.
