We, the undersigned residents and ratepayers of Whittlesea City Council, request the Council to:

1. Reconsider its intention to wait until roadworks are completed on Epping Road before reviewing current traffic management arrangements at the Brush Road/Findon Road intersection.

2. Urgently consider implementing an appropriate traffic management solution for cars turning right into this intersection from Brush Road during peak hours, factoring in changed circumstances and traffic volumes due to the surrounding estates becoming connected to Hayston Boulevard.

Background

• Residents have expressed concern about road safety at this intersection.

• Particular concern has been expressed about cars turning right into Findon Rd during peak hours.

• Near misses occur here too frequently.
