Currently, there is no standard mandated protocol for annual full-body scans for individuals with NF1 or similar conditions. I propose that it be made mandatory for healthcare providers to conduct annual scans for all individuals diagnosed with NF1 or similar genetic conditions. This can be facilitated by governmental health bodies, ensuring that healthcare systems have the necessary support and resources to provide these essential services without financial burden to the patients.

The benefits of mandatory annual scans are profound: potential tumors can be detected early, treatment can commence sooner, and countless lives can be saved.
