This will stop the BSL, Stop Back yard Breeding, Control underground operations as they are happening around Australia. Stop exporting dogs from fighting backgrounds.
If we have registered breeders this problem will be controlled. If a person wants a Pitbull they must undergo a 3 months program before hand to see if they are suitable. All Registered Breeders must desex their canines before re homing them, this will control any backyard breeding. The government must impose stricter fines against the owner if they have an unregistered Pitbull and also fine them if they are not a member. I believe that putting to sleep is not the cure but rehabilitation is the solution.
Controlling the breed will stop the unwanted breeding.
