This is NOT a Petition for just Democrats, Republicans, etc. It’s for ALL OF US AMERICANS. 

In 2008, I started getting really into Gas Prices. Oil futures & all the “excuses” used to “drive up” oil prices. If you notice though their is never an “excuse” to drive prices back DOWN! I remember a woman at the Gas Station in 2006, I made the comment that “Hopefully Gas will go back to “Normal” soon…” she said “Once it goes up it never goes back down….” 
Also Notice when we get any type of relief from our “Government” we suddenly have price hikes on everything so you never hold on to that money. Still yet, let’s discuss the Main Point for this Petition…. We have a Government for many reasons however they all use the talking point that they want to make our lives “better” but since I became an adult it’s just getting harder & harder to obtain the “American Dream”. We have a HUGE ISSUE IN THIS COUNTRY & it’s Rich vs. Poor. We have rich people making rules for the poor. The “Government” doesn’t understand the squeeze Gas puts on people because SHOCKER, the “Tax-Payer” funds their Gasoline!!! 
For the Average American Gas Hikes affect us TREMENDOUSLY. So let’s discuss some actual ways to help us get back to an affordable price!!! First Off, how is our Government helping with “Climate Change” by making us unable to obtain our own fuel but importing more from other countries? The same amount has to be pumped… instead it’s just shipped across the world…. We’re making other countries control our lives. If we’re supposed to be independent, letting other countries drive prices of something used EVERYDAY FOR EVERYTHING…. Isn’t that scary?! What happens when they do decide to just stop letting us have their fuel. They already have the squeeze on us now but our own methods of obtaining oil are going to be outdated & take lots of time & money to fix. By that point we will grind to a Hault & what stops someone from invading if we cannot protect ourselves. America is too big for an item like Gasoline to be privatized, I’m all for a business being able to make money however NOT OFF SOMETHING THAT IS REQUIRED TO LIVE. Yes fuel is required. Break it down & even eating, drinking, wiping your backsides costs are driven by FUEL!!! 
So, since we’re already paying for Fuel why not make it  where oil obtained in the US is used in the US. It is also not open for price gauging. The price should be only set due to the cost of labor, obtaining & maintaining oil rigs etc. Let’s pretend we’re doing something Good for the world for a moment by allowing other countries to control something as needed as oil…. Corruption is rampant everywhere in this country & money drives a lot of the decisions made in the US…. It’s disgusting but true. We’ve sold our selves out for a few dollars. Think for a Moment if poverty wasn’t such a severe issue in this country, the “American Dream” was obtainable for “everyone”. Would we be fighting like this? Let’s get rid of the Greed driving us & do what’s truly best. 
For right now though instead of just using everything we got back from Taxes & Stimulus, let’s start becoming independent again. I don’t think people realize how VULNERABLE WE TRULY ARE!!! Businesses in the US are bound by unnecessary rules & regulations. Minimum wages & benefits but instead of making it easier for companies to thrive we went to other countries we could take advantage of & use their Labor for Pennies. That’s still  Slavery. Any company that stays here is insane. Is it only ok now because it’s not Americans being used like that!! 

i just wonder what the people who founded the US would think about the America we have become… think about the drained, debt riddled America we’re leaving our Children… it starts with becoming independent. Letting people who want to see us fall import into our country anything they want to include like diseases for instance can be done without us knowing about it because it’s Cheap!!! 

No matter what your personal beliefs, America is the Safe Haven for us. We can’t do half the things we do here anywhere else so we need to protect her….
