Having to drive a 120 miles + on a amazon flex block is becoming increasingly common. Now is the time to tell Amazon to pay a mileage allowance for flex drivers.

Since Flex was started, drivers themselves have been responsible for paying for the fuel. Yet since DSP's (The Agencies who supply the vans and drivers) were introduced, they have been paid a mileage allowance. Why are flex drivers not given the same?

As Amazon cater more and more for the customer and them being number one, its about time they started compensating us Flex drivers for the additional mileage they are heaping on us, especially now, as they switch their entire van fleet to electric vehicles, vehicles who's range is limited to about 60 miles. So that means that flex drivers will then be getting sent even further, all of which is just to pronounce to the world that Amazon is becoming zero carbon. As we dont work for them we are not part of there carbon output. Yet we are generating even more carbon than we were before due to the extra mileage being given to us.
