Hi Super Supporters!

Thank you for your support with the P&G action that took place last week on Twitter and by email, it was fantastic and so many joined in! For those of you who emailed them, have you received a response from them yet?

This week the action continues, we need to raise our voices together to make it clear that this isn’t an issue that can be ignored, that there are thousands of us that want change to happen and that this must stop because of the environmental impacts of period plastic!

Let’s take action together today and take over their latest Facebook post to stress that this isn’t something that can be overlooked and that we will not stop calling on them until they address this issue, we need to keep up the pressure!

P&G’s latest post: https://bit.ly/2SuFpI5

Example Post: Procter & Gamble, myself and over 107K supporters of the campaign to end period plastic are calling on you to acknowledge and address the avoidable impacts that Tampax and Always are having on the environment, oceans and wildlife. There are companies that have been manufacturing plastic-free alternatives since the 80’s with more and more options becoming available all the time, which makes it all the more obvious that the plastic content in your period care is completely unnecessary. It’s clear that change must happen and this is why we are calling on you to stop manufacturing pointless plastic applicators and take responsibility for the harmful impacts the unnecessary plastic content in Tampax and Always is having by going plastic-free! www.change.org/plasticfreeperiods #EndPeriodPlastic

If you have the time, it would be brilliant if you could also post on Tampax and Always Facebook posts too! Here are the links:

Have you found period products on your local beach or somewhere else? I’ve been calling on anyone who has found them polluting the environment to post their images online, so that we can highlight where they end up and the harmful impacts they are having! If you have any images please post them online and tag Procter & Gamble (Tampax and Always if you want to as well) and use the hashtag #EndPeriodPlastic so that I can find your posts, which I will then share! If you don’t want to post them yourself you can send them to me via private message on social media

Thank you for your continued support, let’s make change happen!

Ella :)
