Like many others across the nation, I am experiencing the crushing weight of expensive dental care. I recently learned from my dentist that I require even more dental work. However, these necessary treatments come with a price tag of more than $2,000. As a person struggling financially, the steep cost of oral healthcare is far beyond my reach. I sought relief through payment plans, but my application was declined due to my credit history. I am left with no other option but to save up - a difficult task given my financial situation.

According to a report by the American Dental Association, In 2019, 33.5 percent of adults under the age of 65 and 66.5 percent of seniors over 65 did not have dental insurance. By doing so, we can help to eliminate financial barriers to access essential dental care and ensure that every individual, regardless of their economic status, can maintain good oral health.
