I love polar bears and animals like doggies. They deserve a world where they can thrive and roam freely, without the looming threat of climate change. It's heartbreaking to think that our actions, especially those of the aviation industry, are contributing so much to their plight. The aviation industry is responsible for around 2-3% of global carbon emissions. Studies show that it could reach upwards of 22% by 2050 if no action is taken. While this mode of transportation is essential for global connectivity, it has a significant carbon footprint that must be addressed. One actionable solution is implementing a mandatory carbon tax on all flights with the specific aim of funding tree planting organizations.
Trees are incredible. They absorb CO2, provide habitat for countless species, and help in the regulation of our climate.
