Make a sequel to the 2017 computer-animated Biblical film "The Star"

The Issue

In 2017, this star-studded animated flick was released in theaters as a faithful yet creative adaptation of the Nativity story of Jesus. It's no surprise that it became a box office hit despite being released around the same time as Justice League and Roman J. Israel, Esq.. It's a rare form of visual art that can bring an entire family together - even including those members who may have ditched Sunday School a few times - and still have them all singing 'Joy To The World' by the end. On top of that, it discards the stereotype that Hollywood is full of leftists who hate Christianity (literally all of Hollywood has a role in this movie, whether they're an Oscar nominee, a stand-up comic, a country singer, or someone past their prime exclusively starring in flicks headed straight to home video). Also, Joel Osteen has a voice role, I'm not even kidding.

Every Holiday season since then, my family rewatches it on Amazon Prime. And we're pretty sure we're not the only ones. After all, that's the best you can do when you're so curious as to what happens next.

A major service to the world will be performed if this masterpiece gets a sequel. Kids around the world will better understand their Lord and Savior. This could save future generations from being raised by parents who don't understand the value of religion and saying "Merry Christmas" around this time of the year.

Please make it happen, Sony. Signed, The World.

Peace. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays.
