Make a Rainforest Update for Minecraft
The Issue
Hear me out Mojang!
As 2026 is the Year of the Horse (as well as with the reveal of the second 2026 Game Drop Update which adds Sulfur Cubes (a new Mob), Sulfur and Cinnabar Caves (a new Biome), and Sulfur and Cinnabar (two new Building Materials)), we need an official Rainforest Game Drop Update (titled "Rainforest Rumble) for Minecraft! I'd like to see all of these potential new Mobs added to Minecraft: Ants, Anteaters, Bears, Boars, Bongo Antelopes, Butterflies, Caimans, Capybaras, Cassowaries, Chameleons, Crabs, Crocodiles, Deers, (Domestic) Dogs, Dragonflies, Ducks, Eagles, Elephants, Flamingos, Gorillas, Hornbills, Hummingbirds, Ibises, Iguanas, Jaguars, Lemurs, Leopards, Lizards, Manatees, Monkeys, Okapis, Opossums, Orangutans, Otters, Owls, Pangolins, Piranhas, Porcupines, Red Pandas, River Dolphins, Scorpions, Sharks, Sloths, Snails, Snakes, Songbirds, Spoonbills, Sugar Gliders, Tapirs, Tenrecs, Termites, Tigers, Toucans, Tree Kangaroos, and Water Buffalos. Here's my prediction for a Rainforest Update for Minecraft.
The "Tiny Takeover" Game Drop Update didn't bring us any new real-life Mobs, but instead brought us redesigned Baby Mobs, especially Horses, hence the fact that Mojang celebrated the Year of the Horse, even prior to Lunar New Year 2026. A year earlier (in 2025) we got Nautiluses in Minecraft with the release of "Mounts of Mayhem" Game Drop Update. Even earlier until 2023 Mojang was regularly making Content Votes, the last one involving real-life Mobs, more specifically Crabs, Armadillos, and Penguins, of which Armadillos won the Vote. This is why Mojang doesn't listen to us.
So let's call upon Mojang. Make a Rainforest Game Drop Update (titled "Rainforest Rumble") for Minecraft. Give us Ants, Anteaters, Bears, Boars, Bongo Antelopes, Butterflies, Caimans, Capybaras, Cassowaries, Chameleons, Crabs, Crocodiles, Deers, (Domestic) Dogs, Dragonflies, Ducks, Eagles, Elephants, Flamingos, Gorillas, Hornbills, Hummingbirds, Ibises, Iguanas, Jaguars, Lemurs, Leopards, Lizards, Manatees, Monkeys, Okapis, Opossums, Orangutans, Otters, Owls, Pangolins, Piranhas, Porcupines, Red Pandas, River Dolphins, Scorpions, Sharks, Sloths, Snails, Snakes, Songbirds, Spoonbills, Sugar Gliders, Tapirs, Tenrecs, Termites, Tigers, Toucans, Tree Kangaroos, and Water Buffalos. If unpaid modders can add these mobs, then at least you could follow the frequency of the content that made Minecraft famous. Adding these mobs would be fun for their fans, especially Cassowaries, Crabs, Crocodiles, Elephants, Manatees, Pangolins, and Water Buffalos.
Here's the video (with music from the Chinese Mythology Mash-Up on Minecraft Bedrock (composed by Gareth Coker)) where you can see the details:
I suppose there could be more content/aspects in this Game Drop Update, but I think the content/aspects listed in the video are enough.
