Make a Lexus SUV based on the Toyota Sequoia

Make a Lexus SUV based on the Toyota Sequoia
The Issue
There was never really an SUV from Lexus that truly competed with the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and the Infiniti QX80. The biggest traditional body on frame SUV that Lexus ever made is the LX600 which is 200.6 inches long, 78.3 inches wide, 74.2 inches tall, and a 112.2 inch wheelbase which is big but not big enough to be a direct competitor to the Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80, and other full size truck-based luxury SUVs. One of the main reasons why the current Lexus LX doesn’t truly compete with the other full size luxury body on frame SUVs since the Infiniti QX-80, Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Jeep Grand Wagoneer are all at least 208 inches long, at least 79.5 inches wide, and at least 120 inches in wheelbase so if Lexus wants to properly compete in the segment, Lexus must make an SUV with at least these dimensions mentioned above.
Toyota said that the Sequoia will replace the full size Land Cruiser in North America which means a Lexus SUV more related to the Sequoia would make more sense in America since the Land Cruiser is not sold in North America anymore. One other reason why a Toyota Sequoia based Lexus SUV makes more sense than the Lexus LX in North America since it will be priced very similarly to the LX but bigger and more practical. I also know that a Lexus version of the Toyota Sequoia would likely sell at least slightly better than the current Lexus LX since it will be a little bit bigger and will carry a little more people.
Another reason Lexus should make an SUV directly based on the Toyota Sequoia is because the Toyota Sequoia sales grown immensely, selling 4 times as many units in 2023 compared to 2022. Plus, when the all-new 2022 Lexus LX debuted in North America, it hardly gained any sales at all which is why it makes more sense for the LX to be based on the Toyota Sequoia instead of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series that’s sold overseas, at least in North America.
With Lexus having an SUV that’s mechanically identical to the Toyota Sequoia, Lexus will have an SUV that’s truly full-size which it can properly compete with the Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, and especially the Infiniti QX80 which it will be it’s closest competitor. Also, Lexus doesn’t currently have any vehicles in its lineup that can carry 8 people since the first ever Lexus TX only has a 2 seater third row meaning it can only carry 6 or 7 people which I didn’t expect. Having an SUV from Lexus that’s truly full-size will also make Lexus have a complete lineup of luxury SUVs so there’s a choice for everyone who wants a Lexus SUV.
